The freedom to live anywhere. A clearer place to begin.
Drift for individuals is our platform for people seeking immigration support. It brings a clearer starting point together with access to independent immigration lawyers.

Built from lived experience.
Drift began with an experience familiar to people building lives across borders: the rules shape where you can live and work, but the next step is often hard to understand.
Nia Rakheja and Shun Mimura met as neighbours in Berlin. Their shared experience of migration became the starting point for Drift. Working with people and lawyers brought three connected problems into focus: finding reliable information, reaching the right legal support and preparing a useful first enquiry.
Understand your options. Find the right help.
The platform gives people a place to start with their question. Drift AI provides an initial information route. Lawyer profiles make it easier to see the areas a lawyer works in and how to explore consultation availability.
The current website covers needs including residence, citizenship, work visas and family reunification. Independent lawyers provide individual legal advice and representation.
A clear starting point
Explain what you need without having to understand the whole legal system first.
Visible expertise

A human next step
Find a route to a consultation with an independent lawyer.
From our own platform to tools for others.
Drift for individuals keeps our product work close to practical questions. What does someone need before a conversation? What information is missing for the team? When does a person need to take over?
Those questions also inform Qualify and Onboard for law firms and institutions. The consumer platform and a deployment for a law firm are distinct services, each with its own data handling and agreed scope.
